CMDA Project Releases Standee and Flyer in English, Vietnamese, and Khmer

On 18 June 2025, the Cambodia–Mekong River Delta Aquifer (CMDA) project published its official standee and flyer (brochure) in English, Vietnamese, and Khmer. These outreach materials, developed by IUCN Viet Nam and IUCN Cambodia and approved by FAO earlier in June, are designed to communicate the project’s goals, partners, and activities to diverse audiences across both Cambodia and Viet Nam.
The standee provides a concise visual overview of the project’s objectives, timeline, and scope, while the flyer expands this information in greater detail for community stakeholders, government agencies, and international partners. Together, they highlight CMDA’s mission to strengthen environmental sustainability and water security in the Lower Mekong Basin by improving transboundary groundwater governance and promoting sustainable aquifer use.
By releasing these resources in three languages, the CMDA Project ensures inclusivity and direct outreach to groundwater users, local farmers, women, and ethnic minority groups who are most affected by groundwater challenges in the region. The materials will be displayed at project workshops, trainings, and community events, making information about the CMDA Project more accessible and transparent.
The Cambodia–Mekong River Delta Aquifer (CMDA) Project is a Global Environment Facility (GEF) International Waters initiative implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and led by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as Lead Executing Agency, with UNESCO and MERFI as Executing Partners, in collaboration with the Governments of Viet Nam and Cambodia.
